Driver Eligibility Requirements

Age & Legal Compliance

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the region of operation.
• Must have legal authorization to work as an independent contractor.

Vehicle Requirements

• Vehicles must be luxury black-on-black models, no older than 10 years.
• Must have four doors and be in excellent condition.
• Proof of vehicle registration and a valid inspection certificate (if required).

Background & Safety Checks

• Must consent to and pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Must maintain a clean driving record (no major traffic violations in the last 3 years).
• BlackRideCity reserves the right to deny or revoke access based on background findings.

Insurance Requirements

• Drivers must maintain personal auto insurance as required by local laws.
• Drivers must adhere to BlackRideCity’s commercial insurance policy while operating on the platform.

Insurance Coverage Includes:

• General Liability Insurance – Covers bodily injury, property damage, or personal injury claims.
• Vehicle Repair Responsibility – Drivers are responsible for personal vehicle repairs.
• Deductible Requirement – A $5,000 deductible applies in case of an accident, with BlackRideCity covering additional costs.

Driver Registration Process

Step 1: Apply via the BlackRideCity Driver Portal and upload required documents.

• Personal Auto Insurance
• Proof of Work Authorization (if applicable)
• Bank Account Details (for payments)

Step 2: Vehicle Inspection (if required by state).

Step 3: Consent to a background check and driving history review.

Driver Responsibilities & Conduct

Safety & Professionalism

• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.

• Never operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Customer Service

• Be respectful, professional, and punctual.
• No harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.

Use of Platform

• No cash transactions—only platform payments.

Earnings & Payment Terms

Earnings Calculation

• Base fare (percentage-based)
• Distance traveled (per mile)
• Time spent on trips (per minute)
• Incentives, bonuses, or surge pricing (when applicable)

Payment Method

• Payments are processed weekly via bank transfer.
• History is accessible in the BlackRideCity Driver App.

Termination & Suspension Policy

• Violation of policy.
• Low passenger ratings.
• Providing false documentation.
• Major traffic violations or failure to maintain vehicle standards.

Privacy & Data Protection

BlackRideCity collects and processes driver information for identity verification, payment processing, and platform management. All data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
